01Scope
This policy explains how ModelCop LLC ("ModelCop," "we") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the ModelCop website and platform. It covers personal information about website visitors, prospective and active customers, and the authorized users of customer accounts.
Where ModelCop processes data on behalf of a customer as part of the platform, that processing is governed by the customer's subscription agreement and data-processing terms; this policy governs ModelCop's own collection and use of personal information.
02Information we collect
We collect only what we need to operate, secure, and improve the service.

03How we use it

- To support and communicate with you about the service.
- To improve the platform and develop new capabilities.
- To meet legal and contractual obligations.
04No model training on your data
06International transfers
ModelCop is operated from the United States and hosts customer data in a US region. If you access the service from outside the US, you understand information will be processed in the US under appropriate safeguards.
07Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, then for the period required by contract and applicable law, after which it is deleted or de-identified. Customer-directed data follows the retention terms in the subscription agreement.
08Security
We protect information with the controls described on our Security page — encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access, and tenant isolation enforced at the database layer. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but security is a first-class part of how the platform is built.
09Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
| If you are in… | You may have rights under… |
|---|---|
| The EU / UK | GDPR / UK GDPR — access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection |
| California | CCPA/CPRA — know, delete, correct, opt out of sale/share (we do not sell) |
| Other regions | Comparable rights under local law |
To exercise a right, email hello@modelcop.ai. We respond to verified requests within the timeframes the law requires.
